Supporting Better Breathing for Over 100,000 People

Supporting better breathing - woman using dry powder inhaler

Asthma affects more than 100,000 people across Humber and North Yorkshire, causing symptoms like wheezing, coughing, and breathlessness. With the right care, asthma can be well-managed, reducing serious complications and improving lives.

The Humber and North Yorkshire Respiratory Network and the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Transformation Programme are working together to deliver high-quality, consistent asthma care across the region.

Our shared goals:

  • Promote safe, effective inhaler use
  • Reduce over-reliance on blue (SABA) inhalers
  • Equip professionals and patients with clear, practical guidance
